Wife Treated Like a Kid

“I have a husband who treats me like a kid”
A statement I just heard from a raging distant fellow employee. I don’t like her, but somehow I felt sorry for her. It isn’t the first time I hear such phrase from a married woman.

The question is:
If she is really a kid then why did he marry her; only to let her feel bad about it?
If she is mature, but is treated like a kid regardless, why would he treat her this way?
Is it because he likes feeling superior?
Is it because he is threatened by woman’s intelligence?

Only anti-men comments are welcome :p

How is he treating her like a kid? Does he tells her to drink milk before she sleeps? Brush her teeth?
Take a shower? Go to sleep at 9? Don't eat this or that?
Maybe he is a father figure? Do they have kids?
I think we need more details to judge :\

and what will the (more details) help you with?..shez complaining..n he might be complaining..n even if we confronted both of them..it won't be solved until a thing called (understaning) is there in both sides...

LOL
well since I'm not friends with her i can't say much really. but i heard her mentioning a business plan she wants to start. it's having a kids mentality she was complaining about.

and yes, she has kids. I'm sure it's not the kids rituals she meant, poet.

my point is men under-estimating women's mentality.

Simple

He has balls ...she doesnt

So she better grow some balls and defend herself by kicking his or she will end up a baby...not just a kid

Some men like to scorn women- it boosts their self-esteem, makes them feel good about themselves.

A strong woman is called a Nissrah
A strong clever man is called Sebe3

It is up to the woman to assert herself and it is not easy with the block mentality some men have.

On the other hand, maybe she is depending on him to set up her business plan which is also exasperating him. Maybe she acts too dependent and he likes her to be more assertive.

Flamingoliya if she is distant fellow employee then why she tells you something personal?

Jewaira just for the record, Nissrah is not a strong woman, it is a sick manipulating woman.

BoJaij,
would parachute coconut oil work?

Jewaira,
makes them feel sebe3, how true.
about her plan, i don't know how she is at home, but i can assure you she is totally dependant at work! the type that doesn't want to learn and constantly say "i don't know how to do this, do it for me!"

Ghassan,
she didn't tell me. we don't talk except for urgent work. the thing is that she sits only 3 meters away from me and i hear all her chats with the employees and on the phone. i even hear the LOUD SAVAGE sound she makes when eating CHIPS or chewing gum!!!
what she said caught my attention as she is the (sibi3) at work around her gang.

No wonder he is treating her like a kid since she gossips about him and call him names at work with everyone!!
What goes behind the closed doors of a married couple home should stay there but in some cases one of them can complain to a close friend or a close family member!

Maybe it's more simple than you all think! Maybe it's the age difference between them if there is one which would show according to life experience and/or education! After all, many Arab men love marrying women quite younger than them! So yes age could matter in this context!

On the other hand, maybe she's simply naive and gullible!

If the man gonna treat his wife like a kid based on age difference then he should marry someone who is his age or even older than him.
